I'm not here on the website so much these days. I'm quick to Instagram, though, so come on over and follow me there if you're so inclined: @msjennasofia
Since I've been gone:
1) Poisoning the Prophets - stage to screen!!
Current Status: WHIPPED BY SCREENWRITING. Tony Bordonaro and I are currently expanding what was our 14-minute surreal, camp dance-theatre murder mystery and adapting it into a feature film - a sci-fi Film Noir. Check out our Instagram feed - our heads have been buried in the laptop this past month but we'll be posting some fun things there soon!

2) PANTHEATRE in NYC.
Dionysus smiled on us and poured wine on our heads. Another immersive week of workshops with PanTheatre at Punto Space after two years and I'm freshly challenged by this work, and renewed and revitalized in spirit. Choreographic Theatre with Enrique Pardo blew my mind once again and Vocal Performance with Linda Wise was an absolute revelation.
Below is a photo Rafael Acata took on the last evening during the final showing of our work.

3) Second Seed Project: Part 1 - 12/1/16 @ Dixon Place
Back in December, I debuted my first sorta-solo original show... It was certainly not a one-woman-only show; I was lucky enough to collaborate with Jeri Silverman, who played guitar with me on two songs; Terence Ma, who played piano on Tango for Pope Francis; Fernando Papolo Polanco, who papally danced that tango with me; and Tony Bordonaro, who co-directed the show with me all the way from Shanghai. The show was composed of seeds of original stories and songs, and may be part of a larger 3-part project. For the moment, the focus of my creation rests on the next stages of Poisoning the Prophets. Looking forward to sharing the process with you!
